“I and my wife are the current owner of a 2 bedroom unit in “ Generation W”, McElhone St, Woolloomooloo, Sydney. We purchased this unit from Fiducia in 2007 at the time of the project release.

The internal and external renovation was completed by mid March 2008. The revised value of the unit is now A$ 700,000, representing a capital gain of A$ 120,000 after taking into account all our costs including interest during the renovation period. The rental income of A$ 650 a week is above our initial expectation, and is in fact almost covering the cost of a A$ 400,000 interest only mortgage. We were also able to rent the unit out from the day we received the keys. Being currently resident in Hong Kong we were very relieved to find that Fiducia managed the project with minimum involvement from our side, we received regular updates on progress and any questions were answered without delay.  Our initial plan was to operate this apartment as a rental unit but having seen the quality of the conversion we would seriously consider using this as our own residence at sometime in the future.
